A spacious and warm room close to the River Dart

Staverton Bridge room

I'm mostly here on Mondays and Wednesdays, when I don't have access to my room at Dartington Hall. It's for individual sessions, not couples. Online work with anyone is also possible on these days.

It's private, up on the third level, with views of a forest (part of the beautiful Dartington Hall Estate).

Address: 6 Riverwood, Staverton, Totnes TQ9 6NU.

Finding this place can be difficult, so please use the directions on this page.

My mobile will be on at least 15 mins before our session, in case you need help - 07734 364362.

Accessibility within the building

Public transport

Bus 165 goes through Staverton (disembark on the Dartington side of the bridge, opposite side to the railway), as it travels between Totnes and Broadhempston. It doesn't run especially often.

Walking or cycling to Staverton Bridge

There are safe routes for walking and cycling - through Huxhams forest from Dartington or Totnes, or cycle paths almost the whole way with a safe road at the end.

Directions to 6 Riverwood

Using the postcode, go towards the medieval bridge, staying on the Dartington side of river (opposite side to the railway). On a bend, about 50m before the bridge (you can't see it), is the entry to Riverwood.

Turning into the Riverwood development, near Staverton Bridge

Take an immediate left, through low black gates that are usually open, with intercom for entry if needed.

Second turn, towards No6 Riverwood near Staverton Bridge

Go down the slope to the second house from end, the number is on the wall next to the garden gate. Picture of the front of my building, 6 Riverwood, Staverton Bridge

I don't have a waiting area inside, so please come to the door at your session time, rather than being early.

Car parking very close by

A space will be available for you. If possible use one of those next to the garden gate, otherwise in the corner below a satellite dish.

Settling before or after your session

Relax by walking on paths either side of the river, or in the forest behind my building that leads through to the Dartington Hall Estate.
